HiKOKI has paid particular attention to the ergonomics and design of the low-vibration handles (LVH). The center of gravity of both the L-shape and the pistol grip of the rotary hammers is close to the hand. This ensures good balance and is easy on the muscles. It stops the motor if the tool is suddenly overloaded during use. This protection prevents injuries caused by the sudden rotation of the machine. Powerful power transmission

The Soft-Start allows controlled drilling of sensitive surfaces such as tiles. After all, no damage should occur around the actual drill hole. TheSDS-plus drill bit mounting system ensures powerful power transmission - and this with tool-free changing of drill bit and chisel. The two-stage rotation speed also makes it easier to drill sensitive materials. The rotation speed and impact rate can be reduced at the touch of a button.

Thanks to its robust impact mechanism , the DH18DPB is perfect for continuous use. Under full load, the rotary hammers achieve an impact rate of up to  5,500 blows per minute.
